Yahoo Messenger Mystery Solved

One of the mostly used IM in the world and a common problem attached to it “Invisible Text”. It really destroys your mood when u ping someone using yahoo messenger and he/she is not able to view your ping but that’s not all even you are not able to see your ping.

You try every possible thing from changing the fount text/size/color to uninstalling n reinstalling of messenger, turning off firewall, clearing cookies n temp file, enable scripting etc. etc. etc. (n everything else) but the result is still same “Text on your YAHOO IM is still invisible”, so what’s the solution Guys give this a try and I am sure that it will work for you.

But before writing anything I would like to share a small story with you all n, by the end of the story, u will come to know how important Yahoo IM is for me n why I was forced to write this post (trick).

[ We used Yahoo Messenger in our office to chat with our team members and other colleague. I was new in the office when I received a ping “hi……….” (by a girl) I replied and chatted with her about myself, my hobbies etc. basically it was a normal chat of what one can have when u meet some new person.

But it doesn’t stop there and we felt that we have many things in common and then we used to chat almost whole day discussing on various topics including some topics which we only share with our close friends and soon we became very good friends. At that point I realized that I have started liking that girl and one day I thought of proposing her. But I was not having the courage to face her and to say about my feelings for her. So, I decided to say all that on Yahoo chat and I told her about my feelings on chat. What happened next is all history, but my first proposal to a girl was by Yahoo IM and that day I came to know how important Y-IM can be in one’s life. ]

So this solution is for all my friends for whom Y-IM act as a bridge to express their feelings……………….

Here is the solution for the famous Yahoo IM Mystery “The Invisible Text” -

Start-> Run-> Regedit-> Ok

HKEY_CURRENT_USER-> Software->Microsoft->Windows->Current Version->Internet Settings->Zones

Here there should be five zones from 0 to 4, but in your case there will be some more zones.
Delete all other zones and reboot.

Open Yahoo Messenger and check. You should be able to see the chat. I hope this works for you.
