A Meaningful Insight

The thing I should mention specifically when I talk about meaningful insight out of course discussion should be "Discovery of Self". May be it sounds a bit too heavy but I will still hold on to it because that's what the reality is.

During the course I realized that the way we look to things are so narrow and there is much wider, bigger & deeper picture outside. But to look at that we need to break the inhibition. The mentality we carry is so much driven and directed by others and thus the actions are never ours. Saying this that "we act the way how other wants" won't be a wrong statement to make.

I got an opportunity to explore myself during all the course discussion. An example to explain it in better way would be, when I was in the last semester all the focus was on getting the job. But then I realized is it the only thing which I am looking for. May be not the potential lies in ourself and if it is so why not "Make it Large....". The question Why Job?? lead to series of other questions and that too at  an exponential rate. But after a good brain storming what answer I got was something I never googled about.

Job was just like a stage, a short term goal which was present due to the needs at a particular time. These needs could be money, luxurious life or something else. But one thing which was very evident was the existence time of this goal, which was short lived. The answer to the basic need i.e. those needs which actually drive us might help us to understand what we are looking for. Thus, rather than running for short term goal try to explore what you are want out of your life. May be the answer of this would help you to shape your life in a different way becuse it is you who knows what you want from your life and you are the only one who can achieve it for yourself.

A Different View To Life

Picking a single topic out of so the many discussed in the class is a tough task in itself. But, saying this if I need to choose one it has to be something related to Scarcity & Abundance. This was something I could relate to very well and at the same time it was the topic which was the epicenter for many other things discussed in the class.

Basically, it changed the view of how we look to things and how we define them. Is it us or someone else who create this idea of lack or abundance. And if we create it, what's the rationale??? Basically, what ever decision we make are just a reflection of what others say about us. This is more prominent in what we feel we are scarce about. As per me an introspection of the same is required. The thing we feel scarce about are we really lacking it or is it just the image which others have created for us. Can that scarcity, be nullified and does this scarcity is playing any role in making ourself. The answer lies within us. If I feel it does I would try to remove it and take the effort of not making this scarcity my weakness. But if it is not at all there, as per one-self, then there is no point of worrying about it because Why to Worry for something which is non-existent.

The similar thing goes with abundance but we are more sure about our abundant part when we compare it with scarcity.  But again the thing which should be thought upon is "Is it really helping us????" to move ahead to reach our goals and to attain what fits into the definition of achievement for us.

The answer to everything lies in testing and verifying which we often forget to do for the most important part of our integral "Our Life". Covering so many things in such a short time on a topic which we discussed for month is not a easy task but this is some journey we should do. Hope to continue on the question on some other post, some other time. But for now I can only say let people don't make a decision for you. It's you and your life and you should be the whole and sole of what you make out of it.
